“Look at Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem in a secure abode; a tent that will not be removed, whose pegs will never be pulled out and whose guy ropes will not be cut.”  Isaiah 33:20

The time of the Fall Feasts is moving closer as Jewish people are spending time each day doing teshuva (repentance) prior to the Feast of Trumpets/Rosh HaShanah which begins on the evening of September 18, followed 10 days later by Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement.  Four days after that, the Feast of Tabernacles begins which is also known as the Feast of Ingathering and considered to be the time of the last great harvest.  In Israel and most likely all over the world, Jewish people are looking for their Messiah to come.

The theme of the Feast of Tabernacles this year is “The Tabernacle of David!”  The dates are October 1-12 including flying time.  This is the 12^th trip for our team and I have been all 12 years, beginning in 1997.  It’s about government, God’s government – Isaiah 9:6&7, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Pele Yoates (Wonder of a Counselor), El Gibbor (Mighty God), Avi Ad (Father of Eternity) and Sar Shalom (Prince of Peace).  Of the increase of his government and peace, there shall be no end to order it and establish upon the throne of David and over his kingdom with judgement and justice from this time forth and even forevermore.  The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish it.”  Powerful word, His will and He will bring it to pass.

Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and also pray for the governments of both Israel and the United States according to I Timothy 2:1-4.  Read and pray Judges 5:2.

We will participate in the Day to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem on Sunday, October 4^th.  If you or your church has not signed up to pray on that day, go to www.daytopray.com!  Many churches will incorporate this in their Sunday morning service that day.  We’ll join our prayers across the ocean!

We will also pray above the city of Jerusalem where the Jerusalem Prayer Tower hovers over the center of the city.  We’ll pray on Mt. Carmel where Jewish, Arab, Russian, Japanese and Sudanese worship together under one roof.  We’ll agree with God’s victory through Elijah over the prophets of Baal.  Read I Kings 18:21 & 36-39 and declare:  “The Lord, He is God; The Lord, He is God.”  Here, we will minister to Sudanese Refugees and their children, also former prostitutes and drug addicts.

We’ll pray and minister to people on the streets and to Israeli & Arab believers; in house churches, Messianic Congregations, and pray each morning and each evening at the Jerusalem Convention Center where the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem will host the Feast of Tabernacles for 8 nights.

I invite you to go with us through your prayers and donations.  As I did last year and all prior years, I will be taking an offering to the Messianic Congregations, to aid the poor and wounded, and Holocaust survivors!

Dear Leaders at the Crossroads of America:

More and more God’s people are rallying to God’s call to prayer!  Coach Bill McCartney, former Chairman/CEO of Promise Keepers, and Founder of the Road to Jerusalem has been a strong supporter of God’s army of Pray-ers!  Having been a Prayer Coordinator for three of the PK meetings held in Indiana, I was amazed at Coach McCartney’s respect and honor of those who had committed to pray for the conferences, and he, himself would slip into the prayer room for prayer; always falling to his knees and going immediately into prayer with His Father.  What I am telling you is this, he is a MAN OF PRAYER who fully believes “Men ought always to pray and not to faint.”

SUNDAY, JULY 5:  Call2Fall  - Family Research Council and other ministries in issuing a nationwide “CALL TO FALL” on our knees before the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2009, a day of humility and repentance for America.  Pastors and churches are engagning in a singular act of corporate humility, taking at a minimum 3-5 minutes during the Sunday morning worship services for the entire congregation to fall to their knees and call upon God to forgive our sins and heal our land. (II Chron.7:14; Joel 2).  This week-end we celebrate America’s “Independence,” we need to re-establish our “Dependence” on God.  The First Continental Congress called for a day of public humiliation, fasting and prayer on July 20^th, 1775. 

During the National Day of Prayer, Mr. Richard Simmons, MEN FOR NATIONS, sought the Lord at the gates of America.  The Lord impressed upon him to call ½ million men on their knees to pray daily for true repentance.  This massive daily prayer will turn our nation back to God  Isaiah 28:5-6.  “A motto of the America Revolutiion directed against the tyrant King George III and the theologically discredited doctrine of the Divine Right of Kings was simple and direct, “No King, but King Jesus!)

A call  has gone out from Bill McCartney (Promise Keepers Chairman/CEO), to intercessors throughout  the land to gather for a time of national repentance. 

"Days of Repentance" is a result of intercessors recognizing a momentum building that “now” is the time to call for a national convocation or day of repentance.  A number of strategic prayer leaders have a sense that time is closing quickly and that it behooves us as at a national level to humble ourselves, seek God’s face, repent, turn from wickedness and implore God to hear our prayers and heal our land (2 Chron. 7:14).

Urgency seems to be the pressing issue.  With that in mind Promise Keepers along with other national ministries have set a time of repentance that will precede the PK national conference in Boulder, Colorado, Friday, July 31^st.  PK has already secured the University of Colorado's Folsom Field in Boulder and is making it available for this catalytic event and time.

Our God is an awesome God who truly reigns from heaven above!  The earth is His and the fullness of it; the silver and gold are his.  Our Father is calling to His children in this hour to ARISE & SHINE!  He is “a shield around about us, He is our glory and the lifter up of our heads.” Psalms 3:3

So much in our world has seemingly shifted, and not all pleasant nor desirable. And yet, God is calling to His children to ARISE & SHINE!  He’s given us His Word, His Spirit, His anointing, the gifts of the Father, the gifts of the Son and the gifts of the Spirit; as the Apostle Peter said, “All things that pertain to life and godliness.”  But the happenings around us have the tendency to stun or try to paralyze us, to render us harmless and ineffective.  Saints, call out to one another, encourage one another daily.  God is still the God who answers by fire, who rescues His from the fiery furnace, from the mouth of the lion, who has promised to “never leave us nor forsake us.” He’s not a man that He should lie, neither is He the son of man that He should repent.  He has spoken and HE WILL MAKE IT GOOD!  Numbers 23:19

He has given us precious promises and Jesus said, “The words that I speak, they are spirit and they are life.”  KJV  “The Spirit can make life.  Sheer muscle and willpower don’t make anything happen.  Every word I’ve spoken to you is a Spirit-word, and so it is life-making.”  John 6:63  The Message

Remember David when he and his men returned to Ziglag after Achish and the Philistines turned him away.  They found the city burned to the ground and their wives and children taken captive.  At first, David and his men wept until they could weep no more, but the people turned on him and were threatening to kill him.  “But David encouraged himself in the Lord.”  I Samuel 30:6

THIS WEEK -  SHAKE OFF discouragement, depression, despair and fear, and TAKE COURAGE!    This is a NOW word to His children!  Listen to God’s Word to you, “BE STRONG, BE BOLD; for you will cause this people to inherit the land I swore to their fathers I would give them.”  PRAY this over yourself and two other people.  DECLARE that you will cause those people whom the Lord has given into your care, be it family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, bus driver to inherit their God-ordained portion/inheritance.

“ONLY BE STRONG AND VERY BOLD, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you.  Turn not to the right or to the left, THAT you may PROSPER wherever you go.”  “Then your undertakings will PROSPER, and you will succeed.”  CJB & NKJV  REPENT for believing the lies of the enemy that he whispers in your ear, and turn to God.  RENOUNCE fear,

Discouragement, despair and hopelessness.  Tell the Lord that you WILL BE STRONG AND VERY BOLD.  ENCOURAGE yourself; tell the Lord that you TAKE COURAGE!  Then pray this over 3 or 4 other people!  Be a Barnabas, an encourager for the next 7 days!  Watch people’s countenance change as you encourage them, some may want you to pray for them.  Pray in faith believing God to answer their prayers!

I was encouraged with the testimony my hair designer gave me today!  I’ve watched she and her husband grow in their faith for several years, but recently they have taken a giant step.  It started with a daughter-in-law losing her $30.00 an hour job after they had built a home and bought a van and a car.  My hair designer and her husband decided to turn off the TV completely for now and pray and read God’s Word together.  They prayed for two days without seeing a change, but after 4 days, their son was offered a new job with a tremendous pay raise.  The next thing that happened was a nephew fell from 8’ high from a crane; normally just below would have been another machine that would have sliced him in two had it been there.  Somehow, it had gotten moved.  They took him to the hospital and released him.

Now they have decided to make a prayer list for them to pray every day together and after each prayer is answered, to praise the Lord and write PRAYER ANSWERED!

God has spoken change!  He desires the changes that are in alignment with His Kingdom and He’s looking “for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap…on behalf of the land, that (HE) should not destroy it…Ez.22:30

He has invited us in to the Throne Room, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”  Hebrews 4:16  Kenneth Copeland tells of a time when he was in prayer, begging and pleading, bombarding the gates of heaven for revival.  He writes, “After I’d been at it a little while, the Lord spoke to me.  “What are you doing?”  He said.  “I’m bombarding the gates of heaven with prayer for revival,” I answered.  He says the Lord asks him, “How big is My city?” and Kenneth answers, “As far as I can tell from what the Bible says, it’s about 1200 cubits or somewhere around 1500 miles square and 1500 miles high.”  God’s answer to him was this, “Then why are you bombarding the gates?  Assuming that My throne is in the middle of the city, THAT LEAVES YOU ABOUT 750 MILES SHORT!  And, by the way,” He added, “those gates aren’t locked.  Why don’t you quit bombarding them and just come in.”  From Faith to Faith, A Daily Guide to Victory!, by Kenneth & Gloria Copeland

We are praying for the Seven Mountains or 7 mountains of societal influence!

For the Government Mountain, pray Ezekiel 22:30 and be willing to stand in the gap!  “God is looking for and legally needing at least one leader/official at every level and in every layer of government and influence to stand before Him on behalf of the land-----so that He can work to undo corruption and preserve our nation.”  “Let us cry out for more righteous individuals and courageous moral voices in every sphere of rulership and influence.’  Intercessors for America newsletter, March 2009, Gary Bergel

Let us petition the Lord for at least ONE individual in every level and every layer of government and influence to stand before Him on behalf of the land

As we fast and pray these three days, pray Isaiah 58:6-12.  This has been a hard year on the homeless and on ministries, churches and agencies that offer meals, a warm bed and sometimes clothing as well  According to the IFA newsletter, “A new Wilson Research Strategies survey commissioned by Dunham + Company finds that U.S. Christians don’t plan to cut their giving to faith-based groups, despite the sluggish economy.  While 58 percent said they are cutting back on entertainment and short-term savings, only 43 percent said they had reduced or stopped giving to charity.  Of those who attend religious services more than once a week, 60 percent said they intended to continue to give the same in 2009, 21 percent said they intended to give more. WOW, give a SHOUT TO THE LORD. Pray for your church, ministry, business, other churches, ministries and businesses.  PRAY for the faithful ones to flourish, prosper, be “exceedingly, abundantly blessed” so that the world will take notice.

Let us not forget Malachi 3:9-12 declaring that neither you nor your nation will be cursed because of God-robbing!  Pray for all members of the Body of Christ to be faithful in tithing, giving of offerings and first fruits’ offeringsl

There are some big needs out there to be answered and we serve a BIG GOD with whom “nothing is too hard, nor impossible!”

For Thursday, February 26 and Friday, February 27, Pray for WISDOM, Proverbs says it is the principal thing!  Pray that your soul prospers, III John 2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”

Pray from Acts 3 & 4.  Pray for unusual healings such as the lame man at the Gate Beautiful!  Pray for boldness to speak the Word of God, for healings, signs and wonders, powerful prayer gatherings with Holy Spirit empowering and infilling.  Pray for great power and great grace for God’s apostles to give witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and there be none lacking.  Acts 3:1-8, Acts 4:29-35

Pray for all who have recently lost their jobs for their needs to be provided, to find God’s better plan for their lives and for jobs to open up.  If the jobs aren’t there, that God will create the jobs for them.  Pray that among the believing community, there be none lacking. Ask the Lord to use this time to draw the unsaved to Himself and petition Him as to what your part might be.

Abraham Lincoln had spent years in training intentionally, but also without full realization of the task set before him.  The One in whom He trusted had readied him. So it is with you and I.  Although we are yet unaware of all that lies before us,  the One in whom we trust has been faithfully at work in our lives preparing us "for such a time as this."  Just as He had prepared Moses, Joshua, Deborah, David, Esther, Daniel, Mary and Paul to name a few.  He is trustworthy, may we keep that at the forefront of our thoughts so that we "trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all our ways and He shall direct our paths."  God is clearly speaking to His children in this hour, may we be diligent to daily wait to hear from Him.  We will need to discipline our minds and emotions so that we do not allow fear to paralyze us to the point of being unable to clearly hear what He is saying to us.  We are His sheep, and as Jesus said, "...My sheep hear my voice and a stranger they will not follow."  John 10: 3&5  He goes on to say in verses 27-30, "My sheep listen to my voice, I recognize them, they follow me, and I give them eternal life.  They will absolutely never be destroyed, and no one will snatch them from my hands.  My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from the Father's hands.  I and the Father are one."  Very powerful and faith-building words.

In Joshua 1, we find that after the death of Moses, God gave the Command to Joshua to "Arise and cross over the Jordan..."  In verses 3-11, the Lord gave Clear directions to Joshua, then He released Courage to Joshua which was passed down to the people.  "Be strong, be bold....Only be strong and very bold."  vss 6&7, Meditating on the book of the Law day and night and not turning to the right or to the left, God promises Joshua "you will succeed wherever you go."  Once again, in verse 9, God commands Joshua to be strong and be bold; and don't be afraid.  Why?  Because "Adonai your God is with you wherevery you go."  He is instructed to go through the camp and tell the people to Prepare provisions....., the timeline is given and he was told that they would "go in and take possession of the land which" He was giving them.  vs.11.

Jesus was about to return to heaven when He gave clear directions to His disciples in Luke 24:49 and Acts 1:4.  "Don't leave the city (Jerusalem),"  "Stay here and wait UNTIL you are equipped - given power from on high."  "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; you will be my witnessess both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, even unto the ends of the earth."  Acts 1:8

In both instances, Joshua and the children of Israel; and Jesus' disciples, the key to their success was:

    1.  They believed God, and 2.  They obeyed His instructions!

The outcome was possession of the Promised land, enemies defeated, supernatural strength and miracles, provision, lives changed and God was glorified.  The Church was born in power---Christ's disciples were empowered to witness and "turn the world upside down!"  On the day of the Holy Spirit's outpouring, 3,000 souls were saved. In Acts 3, Peter & John were going to the 3 o'clock prayer time in the temple.  The lame man who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple begging was miraculously healed.  All the people came running to see what had happened and Peter preached a powerful sermon.  Both Peter and John were arrested and thrown in jail overnight. BUT THE BRILLIANCE OF LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL had penetrated the gross darkness and it is recorded in Acts 4:4 that the "number of men alone was about five thousand,"  who believed and were born again.  God's Word doesn't record how many women and children were also saved that day.

Acts 4:31 , the disciples held another worship and intercessory gathering; the Holy Spirit falls once again and the place where they were was shaken, "they were ALL filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke God's message with boldness.  1.Believers become united; 2.  Sell their lands and possessions;  3.  Lay the monies at the feet of the apostles who were preaching with great power;  4.  Apostles distribute the monies, and 5.  None is poor nor lacks.  Great change, the Church is empowered and wealth shifted so everyone's needs are provided, signs, wonders and miracles were the norm for each day, souls were saved and lives transformed.

In Joshua's time, the promised land was possessed; after the Church was birthed and believers empowered by the Holy Spirit, the land was sold and needs were provided for;  LIVES & LANDS TRANSFORMED & GOD GLORIFIED!   GOD'S WAY!  GOD'S WILL!  CHURCH TRIUMPHANT!

Phillipians 4:6&7  I am not anxious, neither do I worry about anything, but in everything in prayer, in supplication with thanksgiving, I make my requests made known unto Him and the peace of God which passes all understanding, stands guard over my heart and mind.  I command my heart to beat with the rhythm of life.

REPORT from First Fruits' Gathering, January 31 at New Wineskin Ministries,  a woman with constant pain in her back from a cracked vertebrae, and also a lengthy problem with one of her eyes came forward for prayer.  I saw her this week and had seen the eye prior; she is perfectly healed and giving God the glory!

Tomorrow, President Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Elkhart tomorrow, Monday, February 9 to “sell his economic stimulus plan, the White House announced on Friday.  Why Elkhart?  This is our state’s sixth largest county and Obama carried  44% of the vote in ElkhartCounty.  According to IndyStar.com, “The Elkhart-Goshen Region’s unemployment rate hit 15.3 percent in December, up from 4.7 percent the year before.  This was the nation’s biggest annual increase for a metropolitan area, according to the Labor Department.”  INDYSTAR.COM, February 6, 2009

Again His Word tells us, “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and all who live in it.”  Psalms 24:1  Paul also speaks this in I Corinthians 10:26.

Pray for God’s divine overshadowing over Elkhart and surrounding region tomorrow; pray God’s will be accomplished and done, nothing more, nothing less than the will of God!  Pray the wisdom of God overcome the “foolishness of man.” 

PRAY “the hidden things be revealed and the secret things come to the light.”

Pray for an angelic host to be released to bind up all demonic activity.  Pray for God’s holy security force to be dispatched to ElkhartCounty.

Pray for grace and favor for God’s men and women!  Pray they be strategically positioned!

Pray for President Barack Obama, his wife, Michelle and their two daughters.  Pray the fullness of the will of God for their lives!

Let Your kingdom come to ElkhartCounty and region on Monday, February 9^th and forever.  Be accomplished and done, plans, purposes and will of God on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Amazing how many references there are in God’s Word about mountains, and of course, the greatest and most important is Mount Zion, the City of the Great King.  It is called His “holy mountain” in the Word of God!  We are presently watching over and praying for the Economy/Business Mountain; there is much activity going on at the top of this mountain, therefore, it is a key time to be praying over it.  As one President/CEO of a major company said at the beginning of the year, “the breakdown happened at the top level due to the greed and corruption of many top leaders.”  He went on to say that the people who really make things happen, the workers, the middle income people, are still working hard and continuing to create, birth new ideas and believe for them to manifest bringing about new growth and change necessary for growth and prosperity.  THERE IS HOPE! Another leader said this, “the money didn’t go away or get lost,”  it’s still out there waiting for someone with courage and wisdom to lay hold of it and steward it wisely.

PRAY to be a wise steward of your resources, time and finances!  Pray for those in key positions to make wise decisions that will benefit many, not just one person!

PRAY for your workplace or business!  Pray that it be a place where God’s Presence is welcome and needs are met as the workers are free to pray, share the Gospel and lay hands on the sick. 

PRAY for signs, wonders and miracles to take place in your workplace or business, that many will be awakened and turn to the Lord!

PRAY that integrity and honesty, as well as godliness guide the decisions, motives and actions of business leaders.  Pray against all compromise and for all in your business or workplace to live their lives at work and outside the workplace in ways that honor and glorify God, especially in the area of finances.

PRAY that all business that promote promiscuity would be clearly seen for what they are, would be closed down and their owners, managers, workers receive Christ as their Savior.  This has been a major concern in the past few years, especially those that are in close proximity to schools or places where youth and children frequent!

Offer your praises to God for the people who have so diligently pursued city and county officials to force the closure of these businesses!  Bless the city and county officials who have willingly and readily cooperated in seeing this happen!

SUNDAY, JANUARY 18, 2000 – RIGHT TO LIFE GATHERINGS AT COURTHOUSES ACROSS AMERICA AND IN WASHINGTON, D.C.    

Tomorrow at 2:00 PM, many will gather at their CountyCourthouses to pray and take a stand against the abominable practice of ABORTION!  In our nation’s capitol, they are expecting the largest gathering to protest ABORTION that ever has been!  PRAY THAT THOUSANDS, EVEN MILLIONS FILL THE STREETS OF WASHINGTON, D.C. to clearly show our next president Barack Obama that abortion is not acceptable to the majority of the U.S. of America’s citizens!  Pray for President-elect Barack Obama to have revelation of the truth of this practice and CHOOSE LIFE for millions of unborn babies!  Pray that everyone of these gatherings be marked by God’s tangible presence and pray that multitudes of lives be changed by a supernatural encounter with God.  Pray that God’s Spirit be manifested during these gatherings.

TOMORROW, let Deuteronomy 30:19 be our cry, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you LIFE AND DEATH, BLESSING AND CURSING; therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that both you and your descendants may live…” NKJV

Also pray and cry out to the Lord, “Turn the hearts of the FATHERS to the CHILDREN, and the hearts of the CHILDREN to their FATHERS…”  Malachi 4:6 NKJV.

MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 2009 IS MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY!  Pray for all who have laid down their lives that others might be free including our soldiers on foreign fields and those who have returned from the battle fields.  Pray for healing of body, soul and spirit for those who are still living.  Pray for their families who have suffered along with them to be blessed and receive the “peace that passes all understanding.

Pray for all the gatherings where Martin Luther King, Jr. will be honored that the godly spirit that drove him will come to many in this hour and the truth of his sacrifices be known and honored!

DECLARE “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”  Blessed is the BUSINESS whose God is the Lord; Blessed is the family whose God is the Lord.  Declare we choose LIFE & BLESSING and we choose the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!  Scripture reference is Ps. 33:12 NKJV

Tomorrow at midnight, we will complete the three days praying for the RELIGION Mountain!  Let’s finish strong, lifting up the Lord’s church!  Two scriptures stand out to me which express the Lord’s will for His church!  In Matthew 16:18, Jesus speaks of building His Church and states that “the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”

PRAY for submitted hearts to the Lord, allowing Him to build His church, and pray that, we, His people have “willing and obedient” hearts, minds and lives.  PRAY that we stand together united so the gates of hell cannot prevail against the Lord’s church.

In Hebrews 12:1 & 2, the writer exhorts us to “lay aside the sin that so easily besets us.”  In the Complete Jewish Bible, it reads, “put aside every impediment---that is the sin which easily hampers our forward movement---and keep running with endurance in the contest set before us, looking away to the Initiator and Completer of that trusting, Yeshua….”

PRAY that each member of the Body of Christ has the finisher’s anointing.  Also, pray I Thessalonians 5:23 for ourselves and each member of Christ’s Body!

PRAY for the mindset of triumph and that of an overcomer!  Ask Holy Spirit to help you see yourself as an overcomer!

As we pray for the Lord’s Church, pray for the many who are held captive in false religions and false doctrines.  PRAY blinders be removed from their minds; pray they have a dream, vision or revelation of who Jesus Christ, the Son of God is.  PRAY they be overwhelmed by the LOVE OF GOD, and pray that it also comes through us!

PRAY for God’s chosen, appointed and anointed leaders in the Body of Christ; PRAY Ephesians 4:11-16 and Isaiah 9:6&7.

BEGINNING at Midnight Thursday, January 15, the next three days, our PRAYER TARGET is the ECONOMIC or BUSINESS Mountain!

PRAY for the incoming administrations in our NATION & in our state!  PRAY for the wisdom from above to be given to them in all matters of decision!

PRAY each person be surrounded by Godly counselors AND that they will listen carefully and heed Godly advice!

PRAY for those at the top of this mountain, for their salvation!

ASK Holy Spirit for wisdom with your own personal, business and/or ministry finances!  Ask the Lord to help you to be a good steward of all that He has entrusted to you!

Claim II Corinthians 10:3-6, pulling down the strongholds of poverty, debt, lack and want and CLAIM III John 2, Psalms 1:1-3, Isaiah 48:17 and Deuteronomy 8:18.

PRAY blessings on your church, business & employer; CLAIM Ephesians 3:20 and II Corinithians:8-11.

MONDAY, January 19 begins our three days to pray for the GOVERNMENT Mountain!  This is also MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY!  TUESDAY, January 20 is

INAUGURATION DAY!  These are important days to be praying for our nation!

For the purpose of strength and to be a help to one another, Indiana has joined the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network.  It is not like the US Global Apostolic Prayer Network.  This is more for the purpose of strength and help as we co-labor in various ways.

Please read this and pray!  Apostle Jay Swallow is a part of this network as well.  There are a total of 18 states co-laboring together across the heartland at this time, Indiana being one of them.

The US House of Representatives will be going back into session Wednesday, November  19, 2008. 

Pray for the passage of the Indian Health Care bill with the Resolution of Apology to Native Americans attached.  The House will only be in session for a short period and it is imperative that the Resolution of Apology come to a vote and be passed.

Please pray and pass this on to intercessors within your network.

Recently, one of our leaders sent me this poem the Lord had given her for Indiana!

           “We hear His voice of thunder
            As it echoes from His throne.
            His Power never fails us!
            INDIANA is His own.

            We see Holy God arising
            We hear His mighty roar,
            We see prodigals returning,
            We see innocence restored.

            In all our lakes and rivers
            From all our hills and plains
            The voice of God is calling
            INDIANA, hear the rain.

INDIANA is the Lords!  What can we do to make it secure in His plans and purposes?  I keep hearing and reading the importance of the WATCHES!  In the October 2008 issue of Christ For the Nations,  Cindy Jacobs is interviewed.  Her message is titled “24/7 Prayer Power!”  In it she takes note of the “at least” 60 colleges and universities in America that have a 24/7 prayer house on their campus.  Cindy calls these 24/7 prayer rooms the “spiritual nuclear plant,” for God’s plan for our nation and the nations of the earth. She writes, “Regular concerted prayer is needed both day and night.  If one cannot do it all night, it is important to start the day off by taking authority over the plans Satan has for the day.  Many people often ask me, “Cindy, what is God saying to the prayer movement?”  One of the most impacting words God is giving me and others right now is this, “It is time for early morning prayer!” 

One man who learned the value and the joy of early morning prayer was George Washington Carver.  It was during these times the Lord would give him creative ideas to change farming in the South.  It was he who introduced peanuts and the hundreds of uses for the peanut.  First the South was blessed and became more fruitful, then it spread to other parts of the nation and beyond, all because one man was willing to meet with his Creator in the early morning hours. 

Jesus, too spent many hours with His Father seeking Him, listening to His directions as He said in John 5:19, “….Yes, indeed!  I tell you that the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; whatever the Father does, the Son does too.”  And in John 10:27, “My sheep listen to my voice, ….” CJB  As He is, so are we in this world!  There is yet much to be done, as we spend time in His Presence, listening to His voice, fellowshipping with Him, worshipping Him, He will show us greater things! 

Of Paul and Silas, it says in Acts 16:25, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God:  and the prisoners heard them.”  Their backs beaten and bleeding, their hands and feet in stocks, Paul and Silas chose to sing and pray.  This resulted in God sending an earthquake which shook the prisoners free and the jailer and his family heard the story of salvation and their lives were eternally changed!  What a God, what power, what a plan and we get to be a part of His great plan!

A key scripture for the early morning watch is Job 38:12,13, “Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it?”  It is imperative that we pray during this watch or the wicked will try to overtake us with their lawless deeds.  As Cindy Jacobs puts it, “The Lord is speaking to many that it is time to get up and shake the wickedness out of our day!”  We are not helpless, we have a strong Helper and He desires that His Kingdom come, His will be done “on earth as it is in heaven.” 

Tonight, during the First Fruits Gathering at Glory of Zion, Chuck Pierce asked the saints to take the seven days from December 12-19 and commit to praying during one of the four evening watches; the evening watch from 6-9:00 pm.  This watch, according to Genesis 1:5, “…So there was evening, and there was morning, one day,” establishes the beginning of each day at sundown.  Therefore, this watch is important to setting things in God’s order for the next 24 hours.  The next evening watch is from 9-12:00 and leads into the time when darkness tries to prevail and bring destruction into the lives of many.  The midnight watch is from midnight to 3:00 am and is important in establishing God’s kingdom and rule over darkness, this being the time that witches and warlocks, those involved in occult activity work to establish devastation and ruin in people’s lives.  As we watch, we rule with Christ; we declare His Word and His victory won at Calvary.  One drop of His precious, holy Blood is enough, but He shed it all for us.  Galatians 3:13 is an important scripture for us to remember and declare, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, for it is written, ‘cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree,’ that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles.”  God wills His blessings for us and He desires that we become those whom release the blessings upon the earth that lives, cities, regions and nations might be changed, discipled and aligned with His Kingdom. 

And of course, the early morning watch called the “Breaking of the Day” watch is also considered the miracle watch.  Many of Jesus’ miracles came following His keeping the early morning watch.  It was following one of these watches that He “came walking on the water,” to His disciples who were being tossed and turned by a storm on the Sea.  This was also when Peter asked the Lord to “bid him come,” and He did!  Peter then walked on the water also.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all 92 counties in Indiana had at least one watch covered during these 7 days?  Might we expect there to be miracles, salvations, healings, lives, families, people groups changed for the glory of God!

As Becky Phillips penned in her poem, “The voice of God is calling….INDIANA, hear the rain!  Declare, INDIANA TRANSFORMED/REFORMED, ALL INDIANA SAVED!  Invite Holy Spirit to come; ask the Lord to grant you the grace and the strength to do at least part of one of the night watches ALL SEVEN DAYS from December 12-19 and WATCH & SEE what the Lord will do! 

Ask the Lord to grant you the “spirit of wisdom and revelation knowledge,” increase of the gifts and the fruit and to bring them into maturity!   

Ask the Lord to assign you to pray for your city, your region, a neighborhood, the schools of your county, the county government, the justice system; seek Him for direction!

Tell your spirit to WAKE UP, be strong and ask the Lord to “strengthen you with might in the inner man by His Holy Spirit.” 

Pray and agree for there to be at least one watch in all 92 counties during these 7 days.  If you think there may be those who would be willing to do this and may not be receiving our emails, call them and alert them to this.  Invite them to do a watch in their county!

Every day, cancel the plans of the devil by appropriating the Blood of the Lamb and petition the Father to enact and establish His plans for that day!  Especially declare the plans of Satan rendered null and void and harmless by the Blood of the Lamb in the lives of the children and youth!  Declare “Let there be light,” to shine on and expose the wicked and their evil plans.  Petition the Father for His divine intervention to stop these plans.  I think of drug dealing for one thing!  Ask the Lord to expose any drug rings in your area and cause them to cease to exist.

Pray that any sex/slave activities also be exposed and stopped.  Declare kidnapping stopped and exposed before anything happens.

Pray divine protection over children and young people.

Pray for every child, every young person, every person in your realm of authority to be delivered from the hold of drugs and other addictive substances.  That is God’s will for them; pray they receive the help they need to break completely free and to stay free.

Pray against and cancel every planned abortion; declare life to babies in their mother’s wombs.  Pray the funds of abortionists and their clinics be dried up and the clinics completely shut down.

Pray that those contemplating armed robbery, physical harm to another human being be stopped, caught and if need be, brought to justice.  Pray for their souls.

INDIANA, hear the rain!  Come Holy Spirit, breathe on our peoples, our lands, breathe the breath of life to dispel the death culture.  Empower the people of God to do the will of God!  KINGDOM OF GOD……COME!   WILL OF GOD….BE DONE…..on earth, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!

Mark your calendars, begin now to pray, asking the Lord for His direction for the WATCHES, December 12-19!  It’s God’s time for INDIANA TO WATCH TO ADVANCE!
